Starting a home based Hot Rod Shop

I am in the process of starting up a Hot Rod Shop here in Northern NY. I am the father of 5 beautiful girls but one of them has a severe cardiac condition. This has led me to stay home and attempt the only possible feat for a home based business. I have been a lover of cars, classics, hot rods, since a child. Noone in this area does hot rods. I am looking to raise about 500.00, or enough to get a garage put up and some tools. Any help is appreciated. James
