Legitimate Disabled Veteran needs legitimate consolidation loan

I am a totally disabled Vietnam Veteran who receives, and has for the last 10 years, 100% disability income from the Veteran's Administration. I became disabled over a period of years, from around 1988 through around 1994. I didn't know I could see doctor's at VA until 1994 and began going to them that year. The doctors told me I needed to file claims with VA for illnesses and injuries, something else I didn't know about. Eventually(4 years later in 1998), VA awarded me 100% disabilty, something that I will get for the rest of my life.
During the years from 1988, I lived off savings. When that ran out in 1991, I had no income and wound up losing everything I had. My business, my home, vehicles, and finally my wife.
I held on with the help of family and friends until 1997 when I finally had no choice but to declare bankruptcy and that was finalized in 1998. VA came through just too late.
Now, because of the bankruptcy and credit history, no bank or finance company will even talk to me, except those who want to charge 100-300% interest. I still do not own anything except my household contents and my old truck.
I am trying to raise and/or find someone who is willing to help me obtain $30,000 for a period of 3-5 years at a decent interest rate. This amount will pay off all of my indebtness and finally, after all these years, allow me to exist in some peace, quiet and possibly even some small comfort. Later, it would allow me to be in a position of where I might assist others as they have assisted and stood by me during all these extremely difficult years. I am capable of and will pay it back. This is a legitimate, sincere posting and I will be more than happy to discuss it, by phone or in person, with any sincere person who is not some con artist. If, by some chance, any monies are received through donations, etc., and my goal is not achieved, I will return those monies to those persons who sent it if I am provided some means of contact. Any assistance whatsoever is gratefully appreciated, even if it's just to point me in the right direction. I thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
