I've been living on my own for the past four years (my parents were abusive drug addicts, and I figured I was better off without them and haven't heard from them since moving out). Lately it seems that I just can't keep up with my bills no matter how hard I try. I've tried finding a job, but as a student with absolutely no experience and qualifications, it's proven nearly impossible. I have about $1500 worth of unpaid bills, and as if that weren't enough, I recently received notice from my landlord that if I don't come up with two month's worth of rent ($750) within two weeks, I'll be evicted. I've been homeless before and I don't want to have to experience it again. I never imagined I'd have to resort to this as I've always believed in being self-sufficient, but I can't see any way out of this and have no family or friends to turn to.
