The Bunabumali African PC project
Approximately 6000 people have No Internet connection, due to little or no financial means and little understanding of the potential benefits of getting connected; that's Norman's challenge we need to get solved by the end on 2007. At the moment there's no PC in Bunabumali, but there's plenty of wood.
This blog will show how the unused wood could finally get Bunabumali it's Internet connection at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions of shipping out refurbished PCs from the North by:
* Building our own African PC.
Reducing the transport costs to next to nothing
* Creating jobs in a number of stages of: the local level and the country side.
