Project Jessica Dance http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/368 <c>Project Jessica Dance is fundraising endeavor created for a professional dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer named Jessica Lynn. In October of 2007, while dancing in a class, Jessica tore her ACL ligament. As a result, she’s in need of immediate surgery…which comes with a 6 month recovery period. Like so many hard working Americans, Jessica Lynn doesn’t have health care/insurance…and consequently cannot afford to pay for her much needed surgery. Since dancing, teaching and choreographing are her sole incomes, right now she has no means of making money through her craft. As a community of friends, peers and other dance professionals…we are doing our best to help raise as much money possible to cover her surgery and other expenses during the recovery process. Although we've set a goal of $15K...we're aiming to surpass that. Please note...every single dollar raised is going directly to Jessica!
