Our Directors and Staff are deeply committed to the work and mission of the Foundation. They’re comprised of individuals with experience in both the governmental and private sectors and committed to changing these children’s lives. Our basic program is offered at centers for children in Zamboanga City. The Congregation of the Handmaids of the Divine Heart, also known as the Spinola Sisters, is one center that we sponsor. We also sponsor the Center of Santa Monica parish in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The Congregation of the Handmaids of the Divine Heart was founded on July 26, 1885, by Marcelo Spinola, Cardinal Archbishop of Seville and Celia Mendez, Marquis de la Puebla Ybando, in Extremadura, Spain, during the 19th century in the small town of Coria. Their purpose in founding the congregation was to create in the Church a community of persons, consecrated to the Heart of Christ.

The congregation is present in the Philippines, Spain, Venezuela, Brazil, Italy, Paraguay, Argentina, Japan, Africa and Ecuador. In Zamboanga City, Philippines, the Spinola Sisters congregation is located at 58 Atilano Street, Tetuan Zamboanga City. The centers provide a feeding program and education for low-income children; Gift of Love also offers a Christmas “Adopt a Family” program where we provide food and non-perishable goods for needy families during the season. Our Staff is responsible for identifying deserving families for this program. Our target is for 5,000 donors to donate $30.00 each. Won’t you be one?
