Have you ever thought you could be sued over what you write in an anonymous blog? I am being sued over blogs I did not even write. I merely took the blogs to a meeting for further investigation. The lawsuit is for an amount in excess of $100,000 and a like amount for punitive damages by the developers of a subdivision paid for by Tax Increment Financing.

The land developers and I have had a longstanding dispute over following the proper regulations and ordinances. In my opinion, this lawsuit is an effort by the developers to keep me quiet.

As we all know, attorneys are not cheap.

We have settled out of court. Because it was a frivolous lawsuit, we had to pay only our attorney and fees.
