Donations for Help me buy my girlfriend an engagement ring.

Yes of course love shouldn't have a dollar amount. No my girlfriend is not in it for the money because I'm $30,000 in credit card debt as it is. I also have the mortgage and car to pay for. My girlfriend doesn't even know I'm doing this. Luckily she is moving in with me soon and will be able to pay for the utility bills. Ahhh Some financial Relief. This will certainly help me on the way to getting out of debt and me saving the the money to buy her a nice ring.

Is her taste expensive? She even owned up to that. I can't deny her what she wants. She is normally always very logical with her purchases. She lives a fairly possession free lifestyle.

Should I save this on my own? Is this my responsibility? Yes and Yes. I'm not trying to get out of my responsibility as a suitor. I'm simply asking for assistance along the way.

Is this campaign as important or honorable as other campaigns. No I'm just trying to win the love of the most important person in my life. I'm not helping someone with a disease, or family with a hardship.

I don't feel I'm selfish in my lifestyle. All I'm asking for is a small donation. I've participated in charity events before. I've raised money and ran a marathon for Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I've raised and rode in the MS 150. I've donated to churches, and misc small efforts. I also contribute to the United Way every pay check.

I hope no one takes offense to my efforts. I've seen a lot of things on the web of this nature. A guy trades up from a paper clip to a house. The internet brings people together. I truly want to get something nice for my girlfriend and I don't want to come up short on this when she will wear it the rest of her life (I hope).

Please consider it. Thank you
