You have reminded me personally how amazing people (mostly strangers) can be. More importantly, you have put Caroline one step closer to fulfilling some of the bigger than life creative dreams she has. We didn't meet our goal but man-o-man did we raise a whole ton of money! Don't fret, we are still on track to get Caroline a camera before summer starts (probably over spring break). With this major boost to the creative coffers Caroline couldn't afford a camera for 1k, but can definitely afford to split the difference with your guys' $700+ We also Plan to get her 3gigs of ram and an external fire-wire hard drive for all the awesome new file sizes and rendering issues she will happily have to deal with.
