I tried to buy it last year but being single and a former bankrupt, finance is quite difficult for me to get unless I have a deposit. In Australia, applying for rental is worst than getting a mortgage and you can nenver know how long you are going to stay in a house as you usually get a six month lease renewable to six, you would be lucky to get a one year lease. Then you get the letter saying either the house has been put for sale or the owner is moving back in or even better they don't want to renew your lease and do not have to give out any reasons. So if they don't like you, you are out... Sad but true. Then you also have the cost of movig out...Last time it cost me $1700 and I still had to do about 20 trips with my own car. Then there is the cleaning cost and repair cost. You have to leave the house as brand new so it has become a business too... I am big fan of the Secret so I thought about it. My goal is $150000 which I figured: out of the billions of people on the net if only 150000 of them were to donate $1, that would be it. I could stop relying on my ex, i could offer stability to my children and can concentrate on my work so that I can give them the best life possible.
