    <title>Donations for Disabled dad's legal fund</title>
    <link>http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/484</link>
<description>I am a single, disabled dad, living in Denver and trying to raise funds to help pay my legal fees in my effort to gain full custody of my two children.

I have dystonia and chronic fatique. I used to have grand mal seizures, but haven't had one since my ex and I separated almost 2 years ago.
I spent most of the last ten years as a stay-at-home dad. My kids are in elementary school now.
When I left my wife, she began to tell people that I could not take care of the kids because of my disabilities.

When we went to court for our divorce I was given one full day and three partial days a week with the kids. I do not believe this is in the best interest of my kids. You can read more about this on my website at www.dadfund.org.

All donations go to a legal fund that is set up to pay my lawyer and expenses directly related to my cause. My mother manages the legal fund and I do not have access to these funds and cannot accept donations directly. I receive a small social security check each month and any money I receive would have to be reported to them and would affect my income.

If you would like to contribute directly, I do not get any social security or state assistance for my kids and I desperately scramble to scrape up enough money for groceries at the end of the month. You could buy a gift card from any grocery store in Denver Colorado and note on it as a gift "for the kids". If you email we will give you an address to send the card to.

You are welcome to contact my mother, or me, at fundme37@yahoo.com if you have questions, would like to send a gift card, and words of support are always appreciated.

Thank you so much for any amount you can contribute. Your help is greatly appreciated.
