I am running the <a href="http://www.edinburgh-marathon.com/" title="marathon"><st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Edinburgh</st1:place></st1:city> marathon</a> Sunday 25th May this year.... For George <o:p></o:p> At 20 weeks of pregnancy I lost my waters and George managed to hang on in there for another 8 weeks and was then born at 28 week gestation severely squashed and bruised weighing 2.2lb.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> He spent the first 6 months of his life in Hospital fighting against the odds. He has malformation of his hip joints affecting his ability to walk long distances and cerebral palsy which affects his balance when tired. <a href="http://yogaga.raild.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/sportsday21.jpg" title="sportsday"><img src="http://yogaga.raild.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/sportsday21.thumbnail.jpg" align="right" alt="sportsday" /></a><o:p> </o:p> He is growing into a very positive young man, loves his sports and adventures and determined to join in with his peers. The NHS cannot provide him with decent transport to get around for any distance by himself so I am raising money for him and others in similar situations.<o:p> </o:p> George is now 10 and for his <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Independence</st1:place></st1:city>, We think we may have found the answer.<o:p> </o:p> <a href="http://yogaga.raild.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/i2studiolow-res.jpg" title="segway"><img src="http://yogaga.raild.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/i2studiolow-res.thumbnail.jpg" alt="segway" /></a><a href="http://www.segway.com/" title="segway">THE SEGWA</a><a href="http://www.segway.com/" title="segway">Y!</a> Its Cool, He’s up on his legs, He’s on his own!!! <o:p> </o:p> George got on one of these this summer and I have never seen him so excited.
