In order to maintain high quality screenings at the 4th annual Dam Short Film Festival (Feb. 7-9, 2008), we need to purchase additional video/audio equipment. In particular, we would like to buy a Sony HVR-M15U HDV deck. (The deck plays HDV, DVCAM, and miniDV.) A new one runs $1600.

We've borrowed equipment in the past, but it's led to numerous breakdowns and headaches. And, unforunately, rental equipment in the Las Vegas area is either inappropriately expensive or of poor quality.

Any donations towards the $1600 are greatly appreciated. We're a 501(c)(3) Nevada non-profit corporation. At present, none of our staff draws a salary.
