    <title>Dog needs life saving surgery!</title>
    <link>http://pledgie.com/campaigns/99</link>
<description>My dog, Loki, who just turned 2, has a liver shunt. What this means is that his blood doesn't filter properly through his liver and he is slowly loosing liver and brain function. We've been given 2 yrs for him to live, but research online says closer to 10 months.

There is a surgery that can potentially save his life, but it's $5,000 and there is no way we can afford it.

Thank you for your consideration.</description>
